February 17, 8.15am, The Melbourne Aquarium, Cosentino paid tribute to Harry Houdini with an unprecedented underwater escape love on national TV!

Cosentino was calmly standing underwater, as sharks and stingrays swam around him for 3 minutes and 39 seconds while he picked five padlocks and a pair of handcuffs. Cosentino did a great job performing the escape, especially with the added stress and demands of live telelevision. Credit must also go to his brothers Adam who co-ordinated much of the event, and his trainer and brother John who gave live commentary for the TV audience.
The escape was completed only hours ago and has already received some great coverage with an article and picture gallery in THE AGE here and the ABC online HERE You can also see some video footage from THE AGE here Plus there are several clips from the live SUNRISE broadcast here www.cosentino.com.au |
