Magicians At Work – FREE!
Magicians At Work is back at The Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne with a mix of super special shows and members-only magic sessions. Best of all, it’s FREE to attend and no tickets are needed! Just rock up on the night and enjoy the magic.
Arrive between 5.30-7.00pm to enjoy a meal in one of the nearby restaurants or cafes and meet up with some of our magicians.
MAGICIANS AT WORK SHOW – At 7.15pm you’ll head into The Channel on a first-come first-served basis and take your seat as you prepare for a 60-90 minute feast for the senses.
From 7.30pm one of the AIM Magicians will introduce a non-stop cavalcade of 5 and 10 minute presentations of new and experimental magic.

TIM ELLIS has won more awards for his mind-blowing magic than any other Australian in history.
In the process he’s gained an international reputation for his innovative, original and highly entertaining blend of magic and comedy.
Melbourne Magician Tim Ellis has been buried alive, escaped from a wooden crate at the bottom of the Yarra River, freed himself from straitjackets hundreds of feet above city streets, and driven a $100,000 sports car while blindfolded.
Tim has been awarded many titles including ‘Best Stage Magician in Australia’, ‘Best Close up Magician in Australia’, and was the first Australian ever to win twice at the FISM World Championships of Magic. Since then, Tim has also lectured, performed as a guest artist and is now a regular Jury Member at the World Championships.
He has performed many times at Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle, lectured to fellow magicians at The Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, and headlined at The Grand West Casino in Capetown, South Africa. He also makes special guest appearances on several luxury cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Cunard.
