Last night the iconic ‘Hey Presto Magic Shop’ caught fire and, though the fire damage was kept to a minimum thanks to a fast acting sprinkler system, water damage has caused the shop to be shut down until further notice.

On the CIGAM Forum on Facebook owner Garry Cohen said “I’m sad and sickened today to hear that overnight Hey Presto Magic has been gutted by a huge fire overnight. The damage bill will be in the tens of thousands. Hey Presto has no server or emails or phones and unfortunately we will be closed until further notice.”
