The End of an Era
The magic world is in mourning with the passing of Siegfired Fischbacher, of the Siegfried & Roy, who died from cancer in Las Vegas at the age of 81.
Tributes have been pouring in from all over the world as magicians, celebrities, and magic fans alike speak of how Siegfried and Roy changed the face magic forever.

Siegfried’s partner Roy succumbed to complications of Covid19 just 8 months ago and Siegfried had managed to keep his own battle with pancreatic cancer out of the spotlight until just three days ago when it was announced he had undertaken a 12 hour surgery to remove a tumour.
At their height, the pair performed over 500 shows a year and brought in $1bn of box office, they saved the rare white tigers from becoming extinct, and many would say the also saved Las Vegas with their larger than life spectacle.
Even in his later years, Seigfried’s love of magic was so strong he would drive to the Mirage Casino and perform coin tricks for passersby who had no idea they were being entertained by a living legend.
Siegfried & Roy were truly Masters of The Impossible.
There has never been anyone like them in the history of magic – and there never will be.
